I was diagnosed at 9 years old and for months my parents told me I was just constipated or that I was just nervous.
But I knew that wasn't right.
It wasn't until December of 2021 when my mom brought me in.
They did a whole bunch of tests and saw that I was extremely underweight. - After a few MRI'S and CT scans it revealed that I have a massive amount of inflammation in my colon and part of the small intestine.
They referred us to GI and I got a colonoscopy revealing that I had Crohn's and it was severe.
They told me that if I had waited even a week or so longer to go to the hospital I would've had to get part of my small intestine removed and possibly an ostomy.
- Today I have been living with Crohn's for 4 years now and its been a Rollercoaster but that didn't stop me from doing things I love!
